This month, in partnership with our partners at the ATX Television Festival, we are celebrating all things queer on the small screen! With our celebration of all forms of media, we absolutely must recognize the LGBTQIA+ contributions of network, cable and streaming TV. With greater accessibility and a freedom that comes from serial storytelling, many of us found plenty of formative queer stories being told weekly on the television screen… and we don’t just mean on late-night HBO.

Our professors this month will be sharing their favorite small-screen queer stories that helped them grow into larger-than-life queer adults. Maybe a little Yellowjackets? Perhaps a Queer as Folk? Or maybe we’re going to our Saturday morning cartoons like Jem and the Holograms? You’ll have to join us to find out what’s on the agenda for the night!

Our doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.
