Submission FAQs
Q: Who are y’all looking for to be speakers?
A: Everyone who identifies as part of the queer community—whatever that means to you! We know that everyone has had unique experiences with being queer, and we want to hear ALL of them on our stage!
Q: Do I need to have experience as a speaker or comedian?
A: You do not need previous public speaking experience or need to compare yourself to any of our other presenters. We believe that everyone’s stories deserve to be heard, and we want to hear yours!
Q: What if I have more than one piece of media that I would like to submit?
A: We would love for you to submit all of your ideas that match any one or more of our themes for the year! Then we’ll contact you when one of your suggestions matches up with our themes and the other presentations being made that month!
Q: When and how will I know if you’ve chosen me to present for an upcoming show?
A: We will always reach out to you by email approximately one month prior to each show date if you are selected to participate in order to confirm that you’re still available for that show’s date.
Q: Is there a deadline for sending in movie submission ideas?
A: There is not a deadline for the year. We only ask that you submit movie ideas at least one month prior to each upcoming show so that we have time to plan ahead for the next show.
